The Rehearsal

Securing, boarding and attacking the crew of another ship required competence and the formation of procedures to prevent defeat and unnecessary casualties. Pirate crews were trained by rehearsing their boarding tactics regularly, until every person knew their job and how/when to employ their specific weapons.
